Fishing Reports For The Salmon River
Having an accurate and up to date Salmon River fishing report is one of the most important parts of being a successful fishing experience.
For over three years we have been gathering and sending out fishing reports via this website and through emails. As we have been cultivating contacts on the Salmon River, we are now able to gather fishing reports directly from trusted anglers.
When reading a fishing report that is listed here or another website, please note the following.
- Fishing reports are generated for the current day.
- Fising reports are sent out after the day has concluded
- Fishing reports give the current position of fish but they cannot predict the position of fish the next day.
- Fishing reports must be used as clues or as a forecast of where fish could be the next day because fish continue to move.
- Fishing reports although an important part of the fishing experience it still does not negate the need for reading water and good fishing technique.

I have received multiple opinions about what is happening on the lake. On our Instagram we posted up a story of a video from another “guide” who had a sonar map who gave the impression that the lake was full of staging fish. I received multiple messages that the GPS was not of the lake… [Continue reading…]

Unfortunately, the good weather and warm is not doing any favors to anglers. The beauty of the Salmon River is that even when the reports are being… [Continue reading…]
Image from Instagram @rebeccalois7 The Estuary continues to be unpredictable. The fish will come into the Estuary and it will look like fish will run in the morning but instead it will run in the middle of the night. Image from Instagram @adriano_altadonna The Estuary is not following a predictable pattern of filling up and then run. It seems like it will be filled up and then will trickle or will push fish at night. Most days the current situation is that fish will move at daybreak until 10 AM and then shuts down.… [Continue reading…]
